Terms of Service
Last updated:
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the Movello website and platform and the contracting of Movello's services. Please read them carefully. They contain important information about your rights, including your right to withdraw within 14 days (section 10).
1. Who we are
MOVELLO, S.L. ("Movello", "we", "us"), a sole-shareholder company (sociedad unipersonal), NIF B05681655, with registered office at Carrer de Floridablanca, 68, 08015 Barcelona, Spain, registered in the Commercial Registry of Barcelona, Section 8, sheet B-664341, 1st entry, dated 30 September 2026 (BORME no. 194, 7 October 2026, page 46853). Email: [email protected].
Full company information is available in our Legal Notice.
2. Definitions
Platform: the website gomovello.com, its subdomains (including app.gomovello.com) and the Movello software through which the Services are provided.
Services: the services described in section 4.
You or Client: the person or organisation that creates an account or contracts Services.
Consumer: a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business or profession, within the meaning of Article 3 of the TRLGDCU. Most individuals relocating to Spain contract with Movello as consumers.
Business Client: an employer, relocation agency, or other organisation contracting Services in the course of its business.
Applicant: the person whose immigration application is prepared through the Platform. The Applicant and the Client may be different persons — for example, when an employer contracts Services for an employee.
Lawyer: an independent lawyer, member of a Spanish Bar Association, who reviews your case and provides legal services to you under their own engagement.
Government Fees: fees and charges (tasas) payable to public authorities for processing an application or issuing a card. They belong to the authority, not to Movello.
3. Acceptance of these Terms
You accept these Terms when you create an account or contract a Service, by ticking the corresponding box. If you contract on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
You must be 18 or over to create an account. Parents or legal guardians act for minor children included in a family application.
These Terms are complemented by our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and AI Transparency statement. Business Clients may also have a separate written agreement; where they do, that agreement prevails over these Terms to the extent it differs.
4. What Movello does
Movello is a technology company, not a law firm. We provide a software platform and related services that make an immigration application faster, clearer and better organised. Depending on what you contract, the Services may include:
Assessment and orientation: an eligibility check indicating which immigration programmes may suit your situation;
Case preparation: determining the requirements that apply to your application, collecting and organising your documents, checking them for completeness and consistency, and tracking deadlines;
Connection with a lawyer: putting you in touch with an independent Lawyer who reviews your case and provides legal services to you;
Submission: where you authorise us, submitting your application to the competent authority as your representative, and receiving notifications on your behalf;
Follow-up: tracking the status of your application, informing you of the authority's requests and decisions, and the steps that follow — such as obtaining your foreign-national identity card (TIE) and, later, renewing your authorisation.
The exact scope, price and deliverables of the Service you contract are shown to you before you pay and confirmed by email.
4.1 What Movello does not do
Movello does not provide legal advice. Information and indications generated by the Platform are general and organisational. Legal advice about your situation is given only by your Lawyer.
Movello does not represent you in court or in any procedure reserved by law to lawyers or other regulated professionals.
Movello does not decide your application and cannot guarantee that it will be granted, nor how long the authority will take. Those decisions belong exclusively to the competent public authority.
4.2 The Lawyer
Every case handled through the Platform is reviewed by an independent Lawyer, who is identified to you before the engagement begins. The Lawyer:
provides legal services to you under their own engagement terms, which you accept separately, and under the rules of their Bar Association;
is professionally responsible for the legal advice they give, and holds their own professional liability insurance;
reviews your file before it is submitted and either clears it for submission or tells you what must change and why.
Movello is not a party to the legal advice the Lawyer gives you and is not responsible for it. Movello is responsible for the technology and administrative services it provides itself.
4.3 Representation before authorities
Where a procedure allows it, you may choose to authorise Movello to act as your representative before the public administration, under Article 5 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October. That representation is granted by you, recorded in the corresponding electronic registry of powers (such as the State registry Apoder@ or the registry of the Generalitat de Catalunya), and may be revoked by you at any time. Some procedures require the application to be filed by a specific person — for example, by the employer for an initial work authorisation, or by the worker personally for its renewal. We will always tell you who must file each procedure and act within the scope you authorise.
4.4 Future services
Movello intends to make further relocation services available over time — for example, help finding accommodation or schools, health insurance, mobile connectivity, or registering as self-employed. Where those services are provided by third parties, Movello acts only as an intermediary: the third party will be identified before you contract, and its own terms will apply. Services that require an authorisation — such as insurance distribution or company-formation services — will be offered only by an entity holding that authorisation, and Movello will provide them itself only once it holds the authorisation the law requires. Where the law requires it, we may need to verify your identity before providing a service.
5. Your account
You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity in your account unless it results from our fault or from unauthorised access that you have reported to us. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.
6. Your obligations
Because your application is assessed by a public authority, the information and documents you provide are critical. You agree to:
provide true, complete and up-to-date information, and only genuine documents that belong to you or that you are authorised to provide;
tell us promptly about any change in your circumstances that may affect your application — such as a change of job, address, family situation or immigration status;
respond to requests from us, your Lawyer or the authority within the time limits indicated, so that deadlines are not missed;
obtain any documents that only you can obtain — for example, certificates from foreign authorities — with sufficient time;
use the Platform lawfully and not attempt to access other users' data, interfere with its security or operation, or extract data by automated means.
Providing false information or forged documents to a Spanish authority may lead to the refusal of your application, to sanctions, and to criminal liability. If we have reasonable grounds to believe that a document is not genuine or that information is false, we may suspend the Service, inform your Lawyer and, where the law requires, the competent authorities. We will not submit any application that we know or reasonably suspect contains false information.
7. How the Service works
Assessment. You answer questions about your situation. The Platform indicates which programmes may suit you. This is an orientation, not a determination of eligibility.
Requirements and price — before you pay. Before you pay, we show you the full list of requirements for your application and the status of each one — already met, to be provided later, to be obtained or renewed, or pending the Lawyer's review — together with the full price. Our commitment is simple: no surprises after payment. After payment, a new requirement can be added only where your Lawyer identifies it as legally necessary for your application, and you will be told what it is and why.
Engagement. You accept these Terms and the Lawyer's engagement terms, and pay.
Document collection. You upload your documents. We check them for completeness, consistency, validity periods and the legalisation and translation the authority requires, and tell you what is missing.
Legal review. Your Lawyer reviews the complete file and either clears it for submission or tells you what must change.
Submission. The application is submitted to the competent authority — by you, by your employer, or by Movello as your representative, as the procedure requires and you authorise.
Decision and follow-up. We track the procedure and keep you informed until the authority decides, and guide you through the steps that follow.
Once your profile enters legal review, the information in it is locked to protect the integrity of the file. You can request a change through the Platform at any time; after submission, information can be changed only through the procedures the authority allows.
8. Prices and payment
What you pay. Prices are set per applicant, and may differ by age (for example, for children). The price shown before you contract includes, as separate items:
Movello's fee, for the technology and administrative services provided by Movello;
the Lawyer's fee, for the legal services provided by the Lawyer, which Movello may collect on the Lawyer's behalf; and
where applicable, Government Fees, which are set by the authority, belong to the authority and are paid to it. Where Movello pays them on your behalf, it does so as a pass-through payment (suplido), at cost. Some Government Fees fall due only after a favourable decision — for example, the fee for issuing your identity card — and we tell you about them before you contract.
All prices for Consumers are shown in euros and include VAT where VAT applies. Any additional cost is shown before you pay.
Payment is made through the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment provider; Movello does not store your full card details.
Invoices are issued electronically and are available in your account.
Changes to prices do not affect a Service you have already contracted.
9. Contracting process
In accordance with Article 27 of the LSSI and Article 97 of the TRLGDCU:
Steps: (1) choose the Service; (2) review the requirements and the itemised price; (3) review and accept these Terms and the Lawyer's engagement terms; (4) decide whether you want us to start immediately (section 10.2); (5) pay; (6) receive confirmation.
Correcting errors: you can review and correct your information at every step before you confirm the payment.
Confirmation: we send you an email confirming the contract within 24 hours, attaching these Terms and the withdrawal form in a durable medium.
Storage: we keep a copy of the contract, and you can access it at any time in your account.
Language: the contract is concluded in English. You may request a version in Spanish or Catalan.
10. Your right of withdrawal (Consumers)
10.1 The 14-day right
If you are a Consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason and without any penalty, under Articles 102 to 108 of the TRLGDCU. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise it, send us a clear statement of your decision — for example, an email to [email protected], or a letter to our registered office. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. It is enough to send your communication before the period expires.
10.2 If you ask us to start straight away
You may want us to start working on your case immediately, within the 14-day period — for example, because a deadline is approaching. At checkout we will ask you to confirm this expressly. If you do so and then withdraw:
you must pay an amount proportionate to the Services already provided up to the moment you tell us you are withdrawing, calculated on the total price (Article 108.3 TRLGDCU); and
you will lose your right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed, provided you expressly requested the start and acknowledged this consequence (Article 103(a) TRLGDCU).
10.3 Refunds
We will refund all amounts received from you, less any proportionate amount under section 10.2, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not incur any fee as a result of the refund.
Government Fees that we have already paid to an authority on your behalf cannot be recovered from the authority by Movello; where the authority allows a refund, we will help you request it. Government Fees not yet paid are refunded in full.
The refund of the Lawyer's fee follows the Lawyer's engagement terms and your statutory rights as a Consumer.
11. Cancellation after the withdrawal period
You may end the Service at any time by writing to [email protected]. If you do so after the withdrawal period, what is refunded is set out component by component in your quote, before you pay: unused parts of Movello's fee are refunded as stated there, Government Fees not yet paid are refunded in full, and the Lawyer's fee follows the Lawyer's engagement terms. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under consumer-protection law.
12. Our commitments
We will:
provide the Services with professional diligence, using qualified people and reliable technology;
tell you, before you pay, everything your application requires and everything it will cost;
keep you informed of the status of your case and of any request from the authority;
protect your data as described in our Privacy Policy;
never submit an application on your behalf without your authorisation and your Lawyer's clearance.
13. Artificial intelligence
We use AI-assisted tools to read, check and organise documents and to help prepare your case. They assist people; they do not decide. No decision that affects you is taken solely by automated means, and every application is reviewed by your Lawyer before submission. When you interact directly with an AI system, we tell you. More details are in our AI Transparency statement.
14. Intellectual property
The Platform, its software, design, content and the "Movello" trademark belong to MOVELLO, S.L.U. or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for the purpose of the Services while your account is active.
Your documents remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit them only as necessary to provide the Services, to submit them to the authority as you instruct, and to comply with the law. This licence ends when the documents are deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Availability
We work to keep the Platform available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may carry out maintenance, which we will try to schedule to minimise disruption and announce in advance where possible. Government portals and systems are outside our control; their unavailability may delay submission, and we will tell you if it affects your deadlines.
16. Liability
16.1 For everyone. Movello is liable for damage caused by its own breach of these Terms in accordance with the law. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
16.2 What we are not responsible for. Movello is not responsible for:
the decision of the authority, the time it takes, or the requirements it imposes;
changes in law or administrative practice after your application has been submitted;
consequences of inaccurate, incomplete or false information or documents provided by you or by third parties on your behalf, or of your failure to act within the deadlines indicated;
the legal advice given by your Lawyer, for which the Lawyer is professionally responsible;
the acts of third-party providers whose services you contract directly with them;
interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control (section 17).
16.3 Consumers. If you are a Consumer, none of the above limits the rights granted to you by the TRLGDCU or any other mandatory consumer-protection law.
16.4 Business Clients. For Business Clients, and except in the cases in section 16.1, Movello's total liability arising from the Services is limited to the fees paid by the Business Client to Movello in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and Movello is not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect damage.
17. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform its obligations caused by events beyond its reasonable control — such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, strikes, failures of public networks or of government systems, or acts of public authorities — for as long as the event lasts. We will tell you promptly and take reasonable steps to limit the effect on your case.
18. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end the Service, with notice and stating the reason, if you seriously breach these Terms — in particular section 6 — or if continuing would require us to act unlawfully. Where the breach can be remedied, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to remedy it first, except where doing so would be unlawful or would harm another person. On termination, any refund is calculated as in section 11.
You may close your account at any time. What happens to your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
19. Changes to these Terms
The Terms that apply to your contract are those in force when you concluded it. We may update these Terms for future contracts. For Services in progress, we will only make changes for a valid reason — such as a change in the law, a security requirement, or an improvement to the Service that does not reduce your rights — and will notify you at least 30 days in advance. If you do not accept the change, you may end the Service before it takes effect, with a refund under section 11.
20. Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints. You can submit a complaint at any time to [email protected], by post to our registered office, or through the channels described on our Complaints & Customer Service page. We will acknowledge receipt with a reference number and respond as soon as possible and in any case within one month. If you are a Consumer, you may also request the official complaint form of the Generalitat de Catalunya (full oficial de queixa, reclamació i denúncia).
Out-of-court settlement. Before bringing a claim before the Spanish courts, Organic Law 1/2025, of 2 January, requires the parties to attempt an out-of-court settlement. If you are a Consumer, a written complaint to us satisfies that requirement.
Alternative dispute resolution. Movello is not currently adhered to any alternative dispute resolution scheme. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may contact the Consumer Arbitration Board of Catalonia (Junta Arbitral de Consum de Catalunya), the Catalan Consumer Agency (Agència Catalana del Consum) or Barcelona's Municipal Consumer Information Office (OMIC); we will tell you, when responding to a complaint we cannot resolve, whether we agree to take part in arbitration.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law.
Consumers: you may bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence, and we may only bring proceedings against you before those courts. If you habitually reside in another country, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of the law of that country (Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 — "Rome I") and the jurisdiction rules of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012.
Business Clients: the courts of the city of Barcelona have exclusive jurisdiction.
22. General provisions
Entire agreement. These Terms, the documents they refer to and the confirmation of your order form the complete agreement between you and Movello in relation to the Services.
Severability. If any provision is held invalid, the rest remain in force.
No waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer the contract to a company in our group or to a successor, provided your rights are not reduced; we will inform you.
Electronic communications. You agree that we may communicate with you electronically. Electronic contracts and signatures are valid under Law 34/2002 and Regulation (EU) No 910/2014.
Language. In case of discrepancy between language versions, the version in which you concluded the contract prevails, without prejudice to your right to be attended in Catalan or Spanish.
