2. What Movello is — and what it is not
MOVELLO, S.L. is a technology company. Its registered principal activity is computer programming (CNAE 6210). It develops and operates a software platform that helps people relocating to Spain, and the companies that employ them, to organise, prepare and track immigration applications. Its activity is technology, data processing, administrative support and the intermediation of services provided by third parties.
Movello is not a law firm. It is not a professional company (sociedad profesional) under Law 2/2007, of 15 March, it is not registered with any Bar Association, and it does not provide legal advice or legal representation in court.
Legal services offered through the platform are provided by independent lawyers who are members of a Spanish Bar Association (Colegio de la Abogacía), under their own engagement with the client, their own professional rules and their own professional liability insurance. The lawyer responsible for a case is identified to the client before the engagement begins.
Where a client chooses to authorise Movello to act as their representative before a public administration — for example, to submit an application electronically — that representation is granted under Article 5 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, and recorded in the relevant electronic registry of powers. Representation of this kind is open to any natural or legal person and is not a reserved legal activity.
Movello is not an insurance intermediary, a qualified trust-service provider, a provider of company-formation services, or a regulated financial entity. Where any service of that kind is made available through the Website in the future, it will be provided by an entity duly authorised to provide it, which will be identified before you contract, or by Movello only once it holds the authorisation the law requires.
The decision on any visa, residence or work authorisation is taken exclusively by the competent public authority. Neither Movello nor the lawyers working with it can guarantee the outcome of an application.
3. Applicable regulation
Movello’s activity is governed in particular by:
European Union: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”); Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy); Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights; Directive 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce; Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (Artificial Intelligence Act); Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 on electronic identification and trust services (eIDAS), as amended by Regulation (EU) 2024/1183.
Spain: Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (“LOPDGDD”); Law 34/2002 (LSSI); Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, approving the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users (“TRLGDCU”); Law 7/1998, of 13 April, on General Contracting Conditions; Law 39/2015, of 1 October; Law 7/2017, of 2 November, on alternative dispute resolution in consumer matters.
Catalonia: Law 22/2010, of 20 July, of the Consumer Code of Catalonia (Codi de consum de Catalunya), and Decree 98/2014, of 8 July, on official complaint forms in consumer relations.

5. Information on the Website
The general information published on the Website — guides, articles, eligibility tools, checklists and similar content — is provided for general information only. 7. Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, including those of public authorities, Bar Associations and service providers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Under Article 17 of the LSSI, we will act promptly to remove or disable a link as soon as we have actual knowledge that it leads to unlawful content.
You may link to the Website’s home page provided you do not imply any endorsement or relationship that does not exist and do not reproduce our content or trademarks.
8. Liability
We take reasonable measures to keep the Website available, secure and free from malicious code, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or the absence of technical errors. To the extent permitted by law, Movello is not liable for damage arising from interruptions, technical failures or events outside its reasonable control, or from use of the Website contrary to this Legal Notice.
Nothing in this Legal Notice limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including the rights that consumer-protection law grants you.
9. Data protection and cookies
How we process personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. How we use cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Policy.
10. Language
This Legal Notice is published in English. Under the Consumer Code of Catalonia, you have the right to be attended in Catalan or Spanish. Versions of this document in Spanish and Catalan are available on request at [email protected] [or at: links].
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts that are competent under the applicable rules. Where you act as a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence, and nothing in this Legal Notice deprives you of the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you habitually reside.
